"Breast care"

About: Manor Hospital / Breast surgery

(as a service user),

I have had breast cancer five years ago and the service was very good. I found another lump phoned the care team and I was given a next day appointment. I felt relieved that I had an appointment so quickly and staff was so kind and tried to reassure me. On the day the department was very busy and I did wait a little while, but I expected that. But I saw Jenny the specialist nurse who again was kind and showed me compassion she gave good examination. I then met Amanda in mammogram department again she was very friendly and understanding I then had to go and have a scan. Met Mary and Julie again very friendly and tried to reassure me told me to relax at every point they talked to me. I couldn't of wished for a better service and am very grateful for all the support given. Thank you to ALL the staff

Hello

Thank you for taking the time to read and reply to me. I believe that there is too much about the bad things and never hear the good things that happen. I also believe that you should give praise for the people who gave you their support in a time you were very frightened. At the end of the day we all like to be appreciated when we do something good and there is nothing better when it comes from a manager cause someone took the time a good review. So please let all the staff know in the department and give them a big boost. Thank you
