I was recently admitted to Ward 21 for surgery on a broken arm that hadn't healed naturally. Having been fortunate enough never to have undergone surgery before I was understandably nervous and unsure what to expect. I genuinely needn't have worried. Everything was explained to me with patience, sympathy and good humour and the treatment from everyone involved in my care (consultant, anaesthetists, docs, nurses, carers, cleaners, porters, meals staff, radiologists, physios, pharmacists) was exemplary. Whilst I obviously would not wish to be in need of treatment in future, if it should happen I can honestly say that I would have no qualms whatsoever about the quality of care at Kings Mill Hospital. I would like to thank everyone for taking such excellent care of me; your dedication and hard work is so very much appreciated.
"Excellent care all round"
