I was referred to the hospital to have gamma knife treatment for an AVM. Once they had received my referral, I had an appointment to see the consultant within 2 months, an appointment for the treatment was made within 4 weeks of seeing the consultant. The procedure was explained fully to me, including all the risks. On the day, I was well looked after by the team.
