"The staff did everything in their power"

About: Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital / Emergency Department

(as a relative),

Would like to thank Ward 10 for looking after my Dad who was having chest pains after being rushed to hospital via an ambulance and finding out he had a heart attack and suffering with angina attacks. He got told by the staff that he was being transferred to the freeman to get a stent.

The staff did everything in their power to get him there straightaway which they achieved, after being in the hospital from early Saturday afternoon he was transferred to the freeman on the Sunday at tea time.
Can’t thank the staff enough for putting him at ease and keeping him updated on his condition. Also can’t thank them for finding the problem as he has been back and forth to other hospital and they never picked up on it. Thank you so much.

Dear sn97x,

Your poor Father, I hope he is now on the mend following his procedure at the freeman?

Thank you very much for finding time to sit and write this detailed review about your Fathers time with us on Ward 10 at The Northumbria hospital. Your description of your Fathers care is exactly what we would want all of our patients and their families to feel. Ward 10 should be very proud – I will make sure our staff have the opportunity to read your review to reflect on everything they got right. This will mean a lot.

All the best to you and your Father,

Jan
