For those who have experienced Sciatica, and faced the prospect of spinal surgery, you can appreciate how anxious I felt when arriving at the Orthopaedic and Spine Specialist Hospital. I was made to feel welcome, and put at ease from the initial consultation with the surgeon, and throughout my surgery and after care.
On the 7th May I had my operation, decompression of Lumber spine at L4/5, and decompression of left nerve root, to alleviate left sided Sciatica. I found everyone within the O.S.S.H.team were both highly professional and caring. A small hospital, just 20 en-suite rooms. An oasis of quiet and calm. Not like a hospital at all.
At the follow up appointment, I was advised that it would take up to 5mths for full recovery, and to become pain free, and at 4mths I’m almost there. I would highly recommend the surgeon and his excellent team at the O.S.S.H.
"Highly recommend this Hospital for problems..."
