"I am living my life a lot better"

About: St John's Hospital / Adult Mental Health St John's Hospital / Mental health

(as the patient),

I for a number of years was extremely bad with depression sever anxiety and suicide attempt. I spent times in a psychiatric ward I had a psychiatrist and support worker. Then my psychiatrist suggested I should start seeing a cpn George from st John's hospital Livingston at my local health centre. I was a bit sceptical at first and in a very dark place within my mind. anyway seeing George for a number of years I began to see real changes step by step I progressed with the tools I had learned from my cpn George  . I am now discharged from cpn and don't have a support worker anymore  and I am  living my life a lot better and also have reduced my medication with no adverse effects. I can't thank the nhs enough for all there help and of course George   I have got my life back thank you all

Dear Seethe light

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your fedback with us regarding your experiences with George who had been your CPN.

I have shared your lovely feedback with the mental health team at St John's and have asked them to share this with George, who I am sure will be delighted to read your kind words.

I am so pleased that you are now feeling better and have been discharged from our services and you have been able to reduce your medication - you must be delighted with the progress that you have made.

Thanks again for sharing your feedback with us as it really does brighten up our day when we read feedback like yours.

With best wishes

Jeannette
