"I need pain relief"

My GP is refusing to give me pain relief due to my past substance misuse,and I am currently on a methadone programme.

I feel really judged by my GP, and if I genuinely need the pain relief, then my Doctor should help me, I am in a great deal of pain, and I will be in more pain when I am due to have my wounds scraped and compression bandages put on my legs. So the nurse as told me to go and see my Doctor again and ask for some pain relief as I will definitely need some and she feels that I need pain relief as I am now in a lot of pain.
