"Rheumatology fail"

Arrived today for rheumatology clinic, a replacement appointment for one which they cancelled last month! For the 3rd time now I have arrived only to be told nobody available to see me. Every time they say they have written but no letters arrive. Cost me 16.00 in taxis today for absolutely nothing! Was told by an admin that she was having a meeting next week when they would try and shoehorn us in?? Not a very nice description for a patient. Apparently the consultant wax on annual leave back in August and again today. How marvellous to just be able to ditch your lust and go off at will. Really unacceptable edits between appointments and never knowing if they will happen til you turn up! Rheumatology would seem to be way way down the list of priority’s. Very upset this afternoon but will just have to live with it until I am herded in somewhere this side of Christmas I hope😢
