"Why be a doctor if you do not want to treat..."

Had an appointment with the doctor this afternoon

I found his manner rude and disrespectful

He tried to draw me into his “beliefs” that all pain in physiological and this has been proven in America

I asked him if he would be happy to leave a cancer patient (as an example) in pain. He referred to everyone with cancer as being terminal !!

And therefore it did not matter if they were given high strength pain medication

This gp may well have his own opinions on pain management but it is totally wrong to leave patients in pain because of his own mumbo jumbo. I would definitely not want to see this man again. He wasted my time and was very demeaning
