My 15 year old son was admitted to Ward 34 Acorn Ward yesterday for surgery to fix a broken Scaphoid. People seem to quick to criticise the NHS so I wanted to make sure that you received a positive comment.

I can’t thank the nurses enough for the care they took of my son , from the nurses on the ward to the lovely nurse that took care of him so well in recovery. A special Thankyou to the Staff Nurse in Ward 34 for looking after all of us and making sure my son understood everything and was as comfortable as possible and for including myself, my husband and my daughter in everything. We waited a while for his surgery and had a couple of cancellations due to emergencies but the wait was worth how we were all looked after. You all do an amazing job and I’m very grateful the NHS is there when we need I.
