About: North Devon District Hospital / Gynaecology

There are not enough words to describe how wonderful our experience was today. I came to support my sister in what is a difficult and painful time and we were treated with respect, kindness and consideration. Both the doctor and the nurse assisting him were wonderful. The nurse made friendly conversation with us and managed to distract my sister without making light of the situation. We were given excellent factual information and my sister's opinions were considered through out. A huge thank you also to the reception team and the ward manager who also made us feel comfortable.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us when you attended the North Devon District Hospital (NDDH) to support your sister during a gynaecological procedure.

It is good to know that all staff involved in your sister’s care pathway were kind and made you feel comfortable and at ease throughout what was an anxious time. I am also pleased that you were provided with useful information to explain the treatment which was undertaken.
