Over the last 3 years my Wife and myself have attended various hospitals in fife and cannot say that we found any great fault with the NHS in fife
I think there probability is faults in the system. But when the care and help is required it is always there. The staff nurses where always ready to help you sometimes it can be hectic every one puts there best foot forward to solve any problems.
In August I spent a day in Victoria Hospital Kirkcaldy in the day intervention ward to have surgery on my right femoral hernia repair under general anaesthetic which went well. The only thing was I could not pee so had to go up to the Urology to have a catheter fitted and in both wards the nurses where very well disciplined and diligent.
I then went back to have the catheter removed in September and then went down to unit 1 surgery assessment which I found very well organized.
