Disappointed by referral

About: East Ayrshire Community Hospital / Rheumatology University Hospital Ayr / Rheumatology

(as the patient),

Disappointed with lack of care and support since being diagnosed  In Feburary 2018 on refferal to Rheumatology dept. With lack of consultants, been seen by 3 different locum consultants,   then cancellations of appointment, then seen by last consultant in April 2019.   Now I dont know how long till I'm seen again?

Dear RA warrior

Thank you for sharing your experience of our rheumatology service.

Firstly I can only apologise that you have not had the best experience of the service. I can advise that we now have an established group of consultants which will ensure that our patients will have the continuity of care they deserve.
