"Helped to get over my fear of needles"

About: Locala Community Partnerships CIC / Immunisation Service

(as the patient),

I had a great fear of needles, I saw Bev first in school and would not allow her to give my injections. I was then invited to clinic & going into the first clinic I pushed my nurse Bev away for almost a month then on my 4th time going to see her after all the advice & persuasion I went and bought some numbing cream & went back to see her. Never once did she try to force me ever to get my boosters. With all her help over my fear, I eventually got my injection boosters & she helped me overcome my fear of needles.
