"Thank you for looking after me"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Stroke Care

(as a service user),

Having never spent a single night in hospital in my entire 53 years, this was my worst nightmare come true. However, the two nurses and ancillary staff who looked after me in ward 3E could not have been nicer. They ran the 4 bed unit like a well oiled machine, introduced themselves, were friendly, polite, respectful, helpful and informative. I felt cared for and nothing was too much trouble. I also found the food good and tea & coffee on hand whenever it was wanted. I don't know about other wards, but this one was a wee gem. Thank you for looking after me.

Dear stonesp98,

I can only imagine how frightening this must have been for you. It is great to hear you had a very positive experience. All the words you use is how we hope patients find their experience. The staff will be delighted to read your feedback.

We are fortunate to have an excellent on -site catering department. I am glad at this difficult time you enjoyed the food.

Thanks for posting your feedback on care opinion. I hope you are now on the road to recovery!

Best Wishes,

Christine
