I underwent heart surgery (CABG x 4) in April 2019 at the Harefield Hospital and was then offered a 6-week Cardiac Rehabilitation programme at St. Peter's. This course is excellent in terms of getting you back into an exercise routine and pointing you in the right direction for future activity.
The first couple of sessions were literally 'one-on-one' with a cardiac nurse/physiotherapist which is important in that it sets the exercise objectives, which will of course not be the same for everybody.
In my case the exercise regime also brought about an adjustment in my medication which might well not have happened otherwise.
All the staff were extremely friendly and professional and I have no hesitation in recommending this programme.
