"Surgery has changed beyond recognition"

I have been using this surgery for nearly 30 years and it has changed beyond recognition.

I used to say that if there was a "Surgery of the Year Award", Eden Surgeries would be right at the top of the list.

Sadly, not so now.

I agree with all the negative comments which other reviewers have posted - the new telephone system introduced at the beginning of this year is so frustrating to use , I usually give up in the end and go to the surgery myself which defeats the object of channeling calls to the right person.

I use the Online system of ordering my medication - my health issues are complex and 9/10 times I have to re-visit the surgery because there has been a mistake in dispensing correctly or tablets have been missed off the list.

I have always found that the majority of the GPs are pleasant and helpful and also the nurses who deserve all credit.

In fairness, I have never been treated with anything but respect from the staff who have a "front of house" tough job but there have been occasions when they talk amongst themselves about how disgruntled they have become.

To conclude, I hope that the new Manager will look carefully at all these comments and take them on board and that the surgery will once more become a practice to be proud of.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us, we are really very sorry that you feel this way about the surgery, thankfully you acknowledge how hard the staff and clinicians strive to deliver a good service. I am very concerned about your issues with your medication and would welcome a meeting with you so that we can identify where the issues lie to make sure this doesn't keep happening to you (or others).
