"Consultant Appointment"

Booked in with a consultant for a lung function test including a two-part spirometry test as an urgent appointment. Only to find out on the Friday (my appointment was on Monday) that the doctor doesn't do the test I needed. The hospital didn’t even tell me, I had to contact his secretary as no-one knew the costs of the tests (no wonder when he doesn’t do that test) or what I needed to do before the test (keep/stop taking my meds, etc).
