"Grantham A&E"

About: Grantham & District Hospital / Accident and emergency

I attended Grantham A&E department on the afternoon of the 29th August after having a fall outside on the previous afternoon. I had facial injuries and an injured hand. The staff were all professional ,very supportive and caring which helped me to feel much better as i was in some discomfort and nervous. I saw a nurse first who checked my blood pressure etc then a young doctor looked at my injuries asked lots of questions about my fall and did different checks then arranged for a CT scan and Xrays and explained why I was to have these done. He was professional, caring and supportive. Thankfully my injuries were superficial but was fitted with a splint for my wrist and was given advice for when I got home and told not to hesitate to go back if things didnt appear to getting better and told that a consultant would have a surgery on the 12th September and given a slip with details. Thank you so much.
