"My mother's hospital stay"

About: Victoria Hospital / Trauma & orthopaedics

(as a relative),

My mother was taken into the Victoria Hospital after breaking her hip. The staff could not have done enough for my mum or our family, her treatment was second to none from the doctors to porters to the fabulous nurses on ward 31. I can not thank them enough for the care they gave our mum to ensure my mum got home with one nurse going that extra mile to drop off my mums tablets after what I can only imagine was another busy shift.

The nurses and auxiliaries on the ward are an asset to the NHS their dedication and commitment to the job is nothing short of outstanding. Thank you again for all your care compassion and laughs.

Dear Hunter 68,

Many thanks for taking the time to post your positive experience during your mums stay in VHK 31. I will share you lovely feedback to the staff. I am pleased to read that the staff went an extra mile to ensure your mum received her medicaion.

I wish your mum well in her recovery.

Many thanks

Update posted by Hunter68 (a relative)

Thank you very much for sharing our kindest thanks with the staff, we are nearly a month down the line since discharge and my mother still talks about hayley the nurse who helped her get home just that little bit earlier.

We are holding a xmas craft fair and are hoping to raise some funds for the fantastic ward while doing so.
