Discharged today from the Hand Clinic following very successful surgery and tip-top care by one particular staff member's surgical and nursing team for Dupuytren’s contracture. Excellent care was then given by the Hand staff for essential rehabilitation in terms of immediate aftercare, exercise programme and useful tips regarding massage and compression. Practitioners in the Clinic are professional, very patient-centred, pleasant and highly competent. I felt like an individual with a particular set of needs rather than just a patient with a number.
