My daughter dislocated her knee one Sunday evening requiring a visit to A&E to get it checked. The staff were really busy with lots of young patients, and although we had quite a wait to see the Dr, the nursing staff, radiographer etc were all lovely and apologised for the length of time we had to wait, particularly over shift change to night shift.
Dr Jamie checked my daughter's knee out and he was really good with her, she was in pain and he was having to get her to do some uncomfortable movements with her knee, just to check it was all functioning ok. He was really apologetic about having to get her to do them, even though it was needed as part of his examination.
Just want to say a big thank you to all the staff at RACH A&E, the lovely lady on reception and all the staff, who were rushed off their feet that evening. The waiting room was full, with more people arriving when we left at 10pm. Just wanted them to know they are appreciated even when it's busy and there is long wait.
"They are appreciated"
