"What a Joke."

About: Bradford Royal Infirmary / Accident and emergency

After been to a OOHGP near Bradford area, we was immediately shocked to find that we was having to go to hospital by ambulance. When arriving at the hospital we was told that we would be seated in the A&E department to been seen by a nurse to OB’s, then we will be passed over to gP to make the experience here quicker. After taking OB for the 3rd time we was told to wait back in the seating area till our name was called (this was at 16:40PM 25/08/2019) till the point of me writing this now at 21:40PM. The NHS know that Bank Holidays are the worst time of the year and despite knowing this they have about 2/3 doctors on at a time with 107 patients waiting and a 6 hour waiting time. Sort it out NHS. To follow this, when asking (politely) how long would the wait be? (Which in any other hospital I have been to they would tell you) the woman behind the desk replied “look on the board and you’ll see the time of how long it is to wait” this was so untrue as the board was changing every 10 mins and was giving no indication to what position someone was in the cue or how long there would be to excepted a waiting for. Really hope I never go to Bradford hospital again and fair warning for if your really, don’t pick this hospital as your first to go to.
