My husband was seen by the OOH GP at Worthing Hospital, the early hours of one morning recently.
The GP that he saw (we think her name was Claudia?) demonstrated both care and compassion. She made a thorough examination and made a recommendation to be seen by the Medical team within the hospital.
She also made a follow up phone call when we had returned home to ensure that we followed up with our own GP that day.
Being a health care professional myself, were I have not had positive experiences with OOH services, we were both extremely impressed by the service that she provided. She made my husband feel safe and cared for, when he was feeling extremely unwell and frightened.
Please can you pass on our thanks to this GP.
