"Not many staff?"

About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske) / Gynaecology

I was admitted to Eden Ward on 15th August for one night post op stay. My pre op care was exemplary, in particular the nurse who prepared me for surgery. Everything was explained fully and rough time scales given. The doctors and anaesthetic team were very professional. On return to the ward post op I was quite concerned about the lack of visible staff and no one came to check I was ok or if I needed anything apart from the tea lady. The bells rang non stop and I'm sure the poor staff were rushed off their feet however there were a couple of worrying issues I felt the need to address and have written to you today about these concerns.
