I attended Kittoch Medical Practice just to hand in a repeat prescription form. While there, I asked for an appointment with my GP re blood tests. The receptionist was very helpful and offered me the services of the Phlebotomy Dept within Hunter Health Centre. I was able to go directly to the department on the first floor and waited minutes to be seen by one of the nurses who took my blood there and then.

The results will be ready for me on Friday. Amazing! The nurses were professional and very friendly as was my receptionist in Kittoch. A very well joined up service.

Thank you for your feedback on our redesigned Phlebotomy service in East Kilbride. I was delighted to read your post and have shared this with the team. We carried out patient questionnaires to find out "What Matters" to them and a speedy "Bloods & Go" service is what they asked for. It has been a great success as patients attend the service, no need to book an appointment, bloods are done and reported back to their GP. We have also managed to open the service later until 5pm.
