"Gastroscopy"

Had to get a gastro-endoscope yesterday and I was really pleased with the whole experience. The appointment came through quickly and when I arrived early at the hospital I was taken early and had a quick consultation with a nurse who took my details and briefed me of the procedure. I then returned  to the waiting room for a short while until it was time to have my examination. In the examination room the two nurses and the endoscopist were really nice and made me feel at ease before and during the procedure. One  nurse in particular held my shoulder and gave me words of encouragement which was really nice.   The endoscopist was really thorough and explained what she was doing and the next steps. I feel that the explanation of the procedure before hand ensured there were no shocks or surprises during it. I have no improvement suggestions - it could not have been better in my opinion. From the  guy who enjoys his job and  who liked the taste of the anaesthetic: )
