"Autism Care and Support"

About: Southampton General Hospital

2 years ago after 9 months of feeling dizzy every day and vomiting everyday for a month I went to hospital. I have Aspergers and had a hard time settling in and had had no support prior to going to hospital then I met the amazing Autism care team. They are amazing they showed me and my mother tips and tricks on how to deal with anxiety. I felt like they were the first people to understand me. Nearly 2 years later I now leave my house witch I didn’t before, don’t call my mum 50 times a day, am involved in my local community. I am soo much happier now. Before I was depressed, lost and sick now I am so much better. One of the care workers gave me not only emotional support but helped me with my medication. I can not describe how thankful I am to him and his team. I don’t think I would be alive if it wasn’t for their help.
