Every month I use the Patients Access facility to ask for repeat prescriptions, and every month I find it a problem getting these items delivered during the time frame needed. You state 72 hrs for items to be agreed, then wait for delivery from Pharmacy, this takes well over five working days.
Bearing in mind I am an elderly, vulnerable adult, I then have to wait for this request to be answered.
It is only since the three practices have been amalgamated that I have had this very upsetting problem.
I have not visited the practice for over a year, and your records must be well out of date. My sight is affected by both wet and dry AR problem, arthritic knees, hip replacement, bladder problems, deafness. All symptoms of age of course.
Also, alone, with no local support, accept for paid worker.
So more support as an ex nurse would be appreciated.
