"Awaiting newer procedure"

Still awaiting treatment for an enlarged prostate,but urology department will not arrange for a newer procedure than turps. PVP or resum is my preferred option but although NICE has approved of the newer procedures for a while now,they are not able to carry out the newer treatments. I am struggling with the indwelling catheter due to recurring infections.Getting nowhere with this issue.

I am sorry to hear of your frustrations. The services we provide are directed by our Commissioners therefore it may be beneficial for you to contact your local Clinical Commissioning Group to discuss this further.
