"A doctor's surgery with no doctors"

About: Crossways Practice

I was with this surgery for a few months. In that time I found it almost impossible to get through by phone to make an appointment, had one appointment cancelled at the last moment and had a doctor who I asked for advice following a pulmonary embolism who resorted to searching the net for help. Today I visited at opening time because my repeat prescription for blood thinners was not sent to my chemist despite being ordered a week before and was told that this was because there had been no doctors in the practice.

I am very sorry to hear your comments from your recent experience with the Practice.

Unfortunately our regular GP has been on long term sick and this has left us a bit short of GP cover during August.

As you can appreciate it has been difficult to obtain additional cover during the holiday season, however we now have regular cover moving forwards.

This would have had an impact not only on appointments that we can offer but also on providing prescriptions in a timely manner.

I can only apologise for inconvenience this has caused during this time.
