About: Leicester Royal Infirmary / Accident and emergency

i attended today with my two year old who had swallowed a penny. We were rushed through and seen immediately. The doctors, nurses, aids and porters were all incredibly kind and supportive. They were gentle and caring with my son and made me feel very reassured. He had to have a general anaesthetic and I was talked through every step- we even got given the penny as a souvenir after his surgery! A wonderful team, thank you.
