My mum was admitted there for a week after a severe stroke and sadly never came home.
The staff on the ward were so kind and patient, especially with my 80 year old father and explained things until he seemed to understand. Even the lady that came round with tea was just so nice.... She would just hand my dad a cup of tea made just how he liked it without being prompted. I wish I could remember the nurses name that called me when my mum had passed and hugged us all or the young nurse who took her work into my mums room and sat with her most of the night as we didn't want to leave her but I can't remember your names but I will always remember the kindness
