Whist on holiday from London, I experienced some stomach pain and ended up in A&E here. I was then admitted for emergency appendix removal. I would like to say a big thanks to the team of anaesthetists, who knew that I was nervous and made me incredibly comfortable before going under and to the surgeon/s that carried out the work. I woke up feeling like a new person. Turns out I have been suffering with chronic appendicitis almost my whole life and this simple surgery has solved everything (I don’t know if they knew that part)... I didn’t get a chance to speak with the surgeon or anaesthetist again before leaving and I can’t remember your names but hopefully you know who you are! Huge thanks and big thumbs up. My op was on 16/08/19
"Fantastic surgical team"
