"A level celebrations"

About: Royal Albert Edward Infirmary / Accident and emergency

I attended the A/E Dept early hours of the morning with my son. He had been celebrating his A level results with his college friends. He had too much to drink and had stupidly taken a tablet that was offered to him in a bar. He was in a bad way to say the least. We were treated with respect throughout our visit to the Dept. From the minute we arrived the staff were friendly and professional, obviously in testing circumstances. I would like to thank all the staff on duty that night and apologize on my son's behalf. I can only hope he has learned his lesson . You are all amazing people. Keep up the good work!

Firstly may I say I am sorry your son had to seek medical attention, however I am pleased to read that you found your experience of the A&E department very positive. Thank you for sharing this with us. I do hope your son is feeling much better.
