On Monday morning I saw GP who gave accurate advice on action to take if my condition didn’t improve or worsened. That situation arose but when I followed the correct procedure with 111 service, they were distinctly unhelpful (unlike my experience a week earlier). Desperate I rang the surgery, as it was about to close ,and explained my predicament
Within a few minutes I got a call back from GP I visited earlier that day. I was referred by GP to Freeman Hospital immediately and arrived with the staff having my admission details.
This swift action and appropriate treatment at the hospital saved me from an operation and more importantly the NHS revenue. Faultless service👏👏
