"Treatment Time "Guarantee""

Recently received a letter apologising that NHS lothian did not meet their Treatment Time Guarantee but no details on when I would be told or when I should expect this treatment. Useless!

Thank you very much for sharing your feedback with us following your treatment time guarantee letter. I am sorry that you did not find this helpful.

As an organisation we are required by Scottish Government to write to people who are on the waiting list for treatment. These letters are generated automatically and unfortunately they are not as personalised as we would like as the system is limited in what information it can include. I appreciate that in your case this was not helpful and was frustrating for you. The Patient Experience Team would be happy to look to see where you are on the waiting list but we would need some further information from you.
