"My first ever 999 call"

About: Doncaster Royal Infirmary / Accident and emergency

I had been experiencing pains in the left side of my chest for 3 weeks, when they got really painful my wife called my GP who said call an ambulance, well from the start the 2 ambulance guys were great as they went through there procedures to check my heart out which was fine and then my breathing, any way I was admitted to DRI for further checks, everyone in the emergency ward were great, the ward doctor was intensive and very clear with his diagnoses I was sent for Xrays and then as they found something on my lung so the doctor sent me for a CT scan, the doctor said it was an infection and fluid, I was there 4 hours before being sent home, So yes a good experience at DRI and the nurse and doctors were great.
