"Forgotten about"

About: St Mary's Hospital / Gynaecology

I had surgery for a missed miscarriage a while ago and stayed on this ward after. I was left on the ward with none of my clothes, having to point out I didn't have them which also meant that I had nothing (until they were found still in the theatre) to use to clean up and see to the blood I lost on the ward after the surgery. This means I had to bleed over the floor and over the bed which until I pressed for a nurse I was left to lie in and had to drip blood to the bathroom. I also was forgotten about with the anti d I needed, having to ask twice and was left several hours before I was given this and had the nurse leave the open needle bin on my lap for half hour while she was on break. The other on the ward got checked up on but I was left alone and was only allowed to leave a few hours after the others on the ward had been seen to. I was also give someone else's records also left on the bed with the needle bin. Overall I felt neglected and this is the first time I've had hospital treatment for anything.
