This is the second emergency visit we have unfortunately had to make. Both times were for my daughter's retinal detachment in different eyes. The staff have been wonderful both times, and as you can imagine being only a young adult she was very scared. We were advised to attend with any new symptoms after the first surgery. In the words of her consultant "you can come a 100 times and there be nothing wrong but make sure you come with any new symptoms however minor" we heeded this advice and this time her detachment was treated before the macula was involved, the staff are wonderful. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. It is a centre of excellence and we feel safe in their hands, thank you all.
"St Paul's is excellent"
