"Absolutely inhuman treatment no compassion Just..."

Waited for what I had hoped would be a starting point to an assessment or ongoing assessment of needs with help and to be treated with respect and kindness.

I was seen by a psychiatrist and was hopeful by this title, how wrong could I be? This man was aggressive, rushed - putting words in my mouth - took 3 phone calls - was shouting down his phone at people before they even spoke.

I was hugely intimidated.

He was unfocused and very unsympathetic.

Found communicating with him impossible other than the bare facts of my family and medical history I was unable to communicate in between his direct assumptions.

He virtually flung me a diagnosis having just met me and prescribed drugs.

No ongoing assessments or intervention strategies..

Such a poor service and he really has no clue of the suffering endured to get there.

No wonder so many people who have broken give up when waiting for the appointment was a ray of hope smashed.

I feel they are rushing people through like a conveyor belt which will only lead to tragic consequences and does not of course really address human need at all just treated like you do not matter.

Really left very sad. and lacking much hope for help.
