I have been deaf all my life, and need my ears 'vacumming' to clear wax once a year now. I was asked if my ears were OK, I said I had an infection recently, but I wanted to book an audiogram... to which I was told.... 'we don't do that anymore... goto Specsavers'... To which I replied 'I have been deaf all my life and am concerned my hearing has deteriated', to which she reluctantly goes to arrange an appointment... .whilst her assistant (a nice young lady), did the vacuuming... the one in charge then tries to talk to me whilst having the proceadure (really, loud vacuum noise.... was she for real)..... I would not mind but she should know better. Anyhow, she came back to say appointment booked, and said she will see me next year and shoved a paper in my hand and I left.... It was ONLY when I got home, I realised the paper needed to be handed into reception to book appointment..... NOW home I rang and got an automated message to say station unmanned and they would ring me in 3-days..... WOW what AWFUL service!!!!!!!!
