3 weeks ago I attended RCHT Endoscopy Unit for a screening bowel scope per the NHS invitation.

Excellent 5 * care!!

Luke, RN, was especially welcoming when he went through my paperwork, consent, explanation of procedure plus a good chat about working as a nurse in the NHS...I am a retired nurse after 30 years in the NHS. 

Paula, who did my scope and her team of 3 were all very professional, KIND, and explained everything clearly. Even though I have a nursing background I was not expected to have prior knowledge, for which I was grateful because I was very nervous. Imagining the rare complications happening to me!! 

I was given my results there and then plus a typed copy for me to keep! No worrying for weeks about the results.

Plus, I have to praise the thoroughly efficient administration process from the invitation, information leaflet, enema instructions, directions, parking information and easy re arrangement of my appointment (once I got through the 10 minute queuing wait on the phone).

The NHS at it's best!! Thank you.
