Having wakened up with an obvious eye problem which meant that I could only see partially with my left eye I was taken to the Eye Referral Unit by my wife and daughter. Although we did not have an appointment and therefore had to wait to be seen, once I had attention the care, consideration and efficiency of the staff from Consultant through to the nursing staff was absolutely first class. It was found that I had suffered a TIA in the eye and was very quickly referred to the TIA Clinic where the first class attention continued.
