"My visit to the Pacer Clinic 3"

About: Lincoln County Hospital / Cardiology

(as the patient),

I went in with dizzy headaches and always feeling cold even when it was warm and came out with all the above gone. Wonderful. This has changed my life.

Following my pacer clinic visit a decision was made to go on the treadmill to check reason for dizziness, always feeling cold even in warm weather and often feeling very tired.

This test was a Medtronic Exercise Test

After this test Chris was 50/50 whether to change setting. Reassured if not right it would be put back. The settings were changed and I went into Lincoln shopping. After just and hour of having the settings changed the sides of my head felt different and I had more energy. That night I slept for 6 hours without waking up. I am still sleeping much better and now don't need a hot water bottle as the coldness has gone. My left arm has always ached since having the pacer in but I thought that was due to falls I had during blackouts before the pacer was fitted. I also put the dizziness down to the falls as well. But guess what all these symptons have gone and I feel like a new woman.

Many thanks to Chris for doing the Medtronic exercise test on me.

Its wonderful to know that facilities like the treadmill test could see my problem.

The staff in this clinic are all so caring. A big thank you to you all.

Hi,

Thank you for the for taking the time to write and for the kind words. I am so pleased to hear that you are feeling better, it is always great to hear this feedback which will help other patients with similar conditions.

This is also a great example to look at all available tests to help diagnose and manage patients and to adjust treatment based on the results.

Once again thank you so much for your kind words and I hope you continue to feel well with the new settings.

I have shared your lovely words with Chris too and it really made his day.

Best wishes
