"Getting my life back."

About: Edgware Community Hospital / Neurological Rehabilitation Centre

(as a service user),

Since coming home from NRC 7 months ago I have received wonderful amount of attention and help with what seemed to me like starting my life again. Katie made sure my home was as accessible to me as possible, kitchen and bathroom could be used safely. Claire advised me how to further improve my physical strength with home exercise sets. Evelyn works with me on the most challenging but also most satisfying area which is going outside. I am now starting to feel confident enough to go for small walk and look forward when I'm ready to explore my high street again, do some shopping or meet with friend at a local cafe.

Dear ciapciak,

Katie, Claire and Evelyn are delighted to hear that their help has made such a difference to you. It is great that your confidence is growing and you are going for small walks. We hope it will continue that way and you will soon feel ready to explore your high street, go shopping and socialise again.

Please continue to give us feedback on the service you are receiving but also let us know if there is anything we can do better.

Kind Regards,

Evelyn, Magda and Niamh on behalf of the NRC Community Team
