"sent By my Gp due to extreme abdominal pain"

About: Scarborough General Hospital / Accident and emergency

Yesterday (26/6) I was sent to Scarborough hospital due to extreme abdominal pain (Diverticulitis). We arrived at 9.30 a.m. and I was seen within 20 minutes. I cannot thank the staff enough for the rapid way my tests were conducted and the results. I was put on a drip for pain and given sickness tablet. I now feel less stressed that I can go back again if and when it flairs up again. The consultant who carried out the scan went through everything he was viewing and was a gentleman all the way through. Well done and thank you for all you did for me.

Thank you for taking the time to post this lovely message of thanks online. It really means a lot to staff to see positive feedback like this. I'm glad we were able to help you not just on that day but reassuring you about future visits, too.

I hope if you do need to come back that you have another positive experience.

Best wishes.
