"MY 2ND ADMISSION in JULY 2019"

I was admitted on July 9th under the Thoracic Team for a procedure and spent the night before in hospital accommodation and the day after my procedure on the Ward for one night, discharged following morning.

I was again admitted for 2nd procedure on 23rd July having stayed the night before in hospital accommodation again. I was discharged the day after my procedure spending the night on the ward.

I cannot fault the team in any way. They were wonderful.

Everyone in Theatre put me at ease as I had conscious sedation, talking me through it although I have little memory of it.

My care on the Ward was excellent, nothing was too much trouble for any of the wonderful caring staff on Ward 4 Inpatient Ward. I was very privileged to be given a private room all to myself which was such a lovely surprise!

My Thoracic Surgeon was present in Theatre along with a colleague of his throughout.

The Anaesthetist really helped me to relax.

I was treated with dignity and respect at all times and would highly recommend this hospital especially my wonderful thoracic surgeon.
