"Professional, caring and understanding"

About: North Manchester General Hospital / Breast surgery Royal Oldham Hospital / Breast surgery The Christie

(as a service user),

I was diagnosed with Stage 2 Grade 2 breast cancer in late 2018. I am very grateful to all the dedicated staff who I have found to be professional and caring and understanding in what was an extremely anxious time.

The surgeon, breast care nurses, chemo nurses, hospital staff, oncologists, radiologists, receptionists, every single one has been wonderful at all the hospitals and units I have attended - The Victoria Breast Unit, North Manchester General and The Christies.

The standard of care for me has been very good and I felt informed at each stage of the process.

Cannot praise our NHS highly enough.

I look forward to starting a new chapter now. No looking back.

With love and gratitude.
