"Staff were great from start to finish"

About: St Mary's Hospital / Gynaecology Tameside General Hospital / Gynaecology

(as a relative),

My wife was called up for a womb/cervical scan in July at Tameside Hospital Woman's Care Unit following post menopause bleeding.

We sincerely thank all the nurses and doctors who dealt with is on the day. We were both very nervous and the staff were just fantastic from start to finish! My wife was also invited to take part in the Detect study by Lisa from St. Mary's. She took part in the Study and again Lisa was fantastic from start to finish.

Please pass on this feedback to all the staff involved.

Thank you.

Thank you for your positive comments posted on the Care Opinion website regarding your care in the Division of Gynaecology at Saint Mary’s Hospital. It was very kind of you to take the time to write and compliment the staff as it is good to receive positive feedback which reflects the hard work and dedication of our staff. The Trust has introduced a behavioural framework called ‘Together Care Matters’ within which all members of the nursing and medical teams practice so it was reassuring to read that SN Lisa Cornwall was able to recruit you to this important study and you felt comfortable participating. I can assure you that we have passed on your thoughts to Dr Sean Burns, Clinical Head of Division for Gynaecology and Mrs Angela Williams, Lead Nurse for Gynaecology who will be pleased to share your feedback with the research team at Saint Mary’s Hospital.

May I take this opportunity to wish you both well for the future.

Mrs Karen Connolly

Chief Executive Officer, Saint Mary's Hospital.
